My Solid-Surface Board has scratches. Is that normal?
Yes, it is normal for your board to get scratches over time.
They will be small scratches, and are perfectly okay to continue using. It will not diminish the quality of being bacteria resistant.
To remove the scratches, simply using fine grade (180-200 grit) sandpaper. Buffing afterwards with a green scouring pad will return the surface to its original matte finish.
Is the Cherry Pit-Pal only for hot therapy?
No, you can use your Cherry Pit-Pal for cold therapy as well.
Simply place your pit-pal in a freezer bag for 2-4 hours.
We recommend a spritz of water prior to freezing to intensify the coldness.
Pit-pals may be stored in freezer for a long period of time and it will not diminish its usage.
Do not place your cherry pit-pal straight from the freezer to the microwave. It is best to let thaw for about 30-45 minutes.
How are the Adjustable Wine Bottle Stoppers leak proof?
We use an adjustable bottom that expands the diameter to create that solid, leak-proof seal. Because of this, you can lay your bottle down in the fridge. It also holds the flavor up to 14 days!
Why use cherry pits versus other options?
Cherry pits are far superior to packs made with grains such as corn, buckwheat, beans, and rice for many reasons.
Unlike other products, cherry pits hold their temperature longer and may be used either hot or cold.
If grains are exposed to moisture they have the tendency to swell and rot becoming unusable and unsafe.
Hygienically, cherry pit-pals are washable and grains are not.
Is my Cherry Pit-Pal washable and how can I wash it?
Yes, it is washable!
Machine washing is the most convenient way to clean your pit-pal. Best to place in a zippered laundry bag or a pillowcase with the end tied shut. Wash on gentle cycle with a load of clothes or towels. Air drying is always the best for drying.
Hand washing is also recommended. Use a very small amount of detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and wrap in a towel to ring out excess water. Air dry.
